Founded by Hugh Ma and his teenage son, Project 813’s story started with early morning driver events at 7 am. Hugh always wanted to buy coffee on his way to the track, but he didn’t trust the fancy but shallow cupholders that came in his car. He didn’t want to spill on his car seats. So he made his first Flip Cupholder that would perfectly hold a Starbucks venti cup. He always liked his car accessories to be functional and have a factory look, blending in seamlessly into his car. And so, Project 813 was founded.
